Bonky Akpan is a Promethean Song writer and singer from Akwa Ibom State, Born into a family of four consisting of his parents, a younger sister and him, he grew up in Afaha Eket L.G.A of Akwa Ibom state.

Bonky has always had a knack for kingdom service and music, this led to him being celebrated and decorated with accolades by TREM EKET Chapter for his exceptional and unbeatable performance in her competition tagged "WHO IS WHO ON THE MICROPHONE", this was a major break for Bonky's career as he had the opportunity and platforms for exposure and knowledge gathering.


After many years of being around music icons and creative song writers; Bonky decided to kick start his music career professionally in the fall of 2005, the journey was not a rosy one but Bonky was zealous and highly motivated to continue despite its many challenges, today Bonky appreciates his decision to forge ahead and always return all glory to God for his grace that kept and brought him this far.

Till date, Bonky has six (7) tracks to his name and he is working relentlessly to come up with more, his latest work is "MY TESTIMONY".


"MY TESTIMONY" which is interpreted as "Supporting Evidence" is more than a song to Bonky, My Testimony is his lifestyle because he lives to thank God for his mercies, grace and love that has kept and brought him and his family this far.

Apart from God who has been everything to Bonky, he also loves and emulates Nathaniel Bassey's style and choice of music.

Bonky's Dad and other members of his family has been a great fan and supporter of his music career.
Bonky's latest work of Art being "My Testimony" is set for release from 6th August, 2017.
